Prices and Rules

Prices ALL WEEK TICKET £500 MIDWEEK TICKET £400 Midweek ticket runs from 10.30am Sunday morning until 10am Friday mornings. The season ticket is from May 1st until April 30th. Rules These will be adjusted and changed as and when required: Millfield Pool Syndicate Rules

  1. Permits are valid from 1st May to 30th April.

  2. Under no circumstances fish with more than 3 rods (includes “cheeky” pike rod) .

  3. Tubing or leaders are allowed on fishing rods (trial basis for leaders but if they are found on trees regularly they will be banned again). No braided mainline.

  4. No extra bivvies or tents to be put up outside your peg unless you have been given permission and that they are “carpy” as opposed to ramshackle.

  5. All tethered and snapped off fish to be reported immediately.

  6. Catch reports must be entered in the log book in the cabin. You must enter if mirror or common, peg and weight but extra information is up to you.

  7. No leaving rods unattended. Alarms are too loud if heard in the next peg.

  8. Bait boats are allowed but excessively frequent use of them is frowned upon.

  9. No plastic baits apart from when zig fishing.

  10. Anti bank tramp rules- You can fish up to a 5 night stint once a calendar month, but regularly 3 nights back to back are the maximum. You must then not fish for the same amount of nights you have just done up to 3 days. No going to work/away for several hours leaving your gear in a peg, however you can nip home/get supplies/whatever for 3 hours off site tops.

  11. Baiting up before your session is allowed if done with respect to anglers fishing at the time. Just because you have pre baited a swim gives you no right to it if someone else arrives before you on the day of fishing.

  12. On hot days you can take your top off in your peg but you must wear a t-shirt/vest at least when walking around the lake- no one wants to see your belly and/or tattoos :-)

  13. Pike fishing is allowed between 1st November and 14th March inclusive. Use only 2 rods for pike fishing. Please use only semi barbed trebles when using bait and barbless only on lures. No free lining for pike.

  14. Two rowing boats have been provided to assist anglers in retrieving snapped off rigs and tethered fish. Use them at your own risk. A LIFE JACKET MUST BE WORN WHEN IN THE BOAT. An oar and life jacket will be kept in the cabin.

  15. Well behaved dogs are welcome as long as they are cleaned up after.

  16. Spouses and kids are welcome, bearing in mind this is a serious carp fishing syndicate.

  17. Guest fishing tickets will be charged at £30 per 24 hours no matter what time of year. They must be booked, don't take it personally if they are rejected during busy times.

  18. If you give up your ticket you will not be able to reapply for 3 years.

  19. Never give the gate code out to anyone. Meet anyone you are letting in at the gate. If they don’t have the code already, they shouldn’t be on.
